We are looking for a VMware Implementation & Management Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support our Clientele’s growing VMWare infrastructure. You will be part of a systems engineering team that is responsible for designing and developing scalable, maintainable, highly available VMware architectures that meet business objectives and SLAs.
Roles and responsibilities
7 to 10 years of experience implementing complex virtualization solutions using VMware vSphere with clustered storage, with high availability capabilities such as vMotion, fault tolerance, SRM, Storage, vMotion.
VMware Technology: vSAN, Vrealize suite includes Automation, VROPS & other products of Vrealize could suite.
Technologies: Windows Server, Active Directory design and management, Group Policy customization, VMware vCenter 6.X with SRM, Hardware knowledge on HP/DELL/IBM BladeRackservers and HCI platforms and Cisco UCS architecture.
Design, deploy and maintain virtual infrastructure solutions based on VMWare Virtual server( vSphere) and desktop infrastructure( VDI).
Subject Matter Expert on VMWare Virtual Infrastructure including architecture, (re)design, deployment, DR, backup and HA.
Working Knowledge on Cloud Integration with VMware & NSX Knowledge.
Experience in P2V, V2V MIGRATION using VMware Converter. Creating host and client VM templates and cloning.
Power CLI Commands & Scripting knowledge.
Experience in Networking configuration & Security Configuration on ESX Host.
Knowledge on Storage like Dell EMC/HPE/Hitachi/IBM/NETAPP etc….
Demonstrated experience using an ITIL based ticketing systems.
Demonstrated track record of service level management.
Demonstrated Root Cause Correct Action analysis, report generation, and presentation to senior Management.
Demonstrated project timeline management skills.
Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement through innovation and change.
Demonstrated customer facing support experience.
Must have strong communication skills and the ability to articulate task management, priorities, and issues.
Experience withx86 / x64Intel,DELL EMC, HP& IBM & Dell hardware like rack-mounted servers, tower servers, desktop, laptop and other peripherals.
Experience in designing, deploying virtual networks and upgrading systems, including hardware, software, networks, databases, servers and peripheral equipment.
Motivated, enthusiastic, and pro-active System/Network Administrator with an excellentcan-doattitude.
